Summary: I loved the quiet, the charm & character of the 1940s building, the collection of antique medical objets & historic local photos. It was cosy and a comfortable warmth thanks to the central radiator heating throughout. I was definitely not too hot in my room. Very clean & all the facilities that I needed - access to a large freezer & a bath was a welcome added bonus also. Lovely grounds. Very friendly, helpful & welcoming service from the manager Shontal.
